Here is a message from The UNA to pass along to your children: Oct 1-5 is the Walk ‘n Roll to School Celebration Week. Three walking buses will be led by parent volunteers from different neighbourhoods to NRP. Invite your classmates to walk ‘n roll to school with you. Point Grey Fiesta- Trimble Park

Point Grey Fiesta  Saturday June 23, 2018 The Point Grey Fiesta is the community’s annual start-of-summer event for families and friends. Starting with a Saturday parade on West 10th avenue, the Saturday celebration continues in Trimble Park with stage performances, activities and exhibitors. Carnival rides in Trimble Park operate from Friday to Sunday. Car Free Morning – Friday, June 1

This is a kind reminder that tomorrow is Car Free Day, and the Walk n’ Roll group will leave earlier in the morning. Car Free Morning: On June 1 (tomorrow), between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, Ortona Road will be closed for vehicular access. The Walking School Bus will leave early (please refer to the schedule below) for kids to participate fun activities and games, check out the fire truck and meet a RCMP officer. See road closure notification for alternative drop-off points. The Walk ‘n Roll to School Celebration Week is coming back from May 28 to June 1. It is a joint initiative taken by UBC Campus and Community Planning, UNA and the school.
