The Chan Centre is presenting a family-friendly titled “Evolution of the String Quartet” Haydn to Disney” this coming Sunday, March 5th at 3pm.
This concert is performed by the Somerset String Quartet, UBC School of Music’s Resident String Quartet.
It is only an hour long, free for children 12 and under, and will include an fun Instrument Petting Zoo before the concert. The Instrument Petting Zoo will run from 2 to 2:45pm in the lobby of the Chan Centre and the Somerset String Quartet will be available to showcase their instruments and guide you through hands-on demonstrating using other string and percussion instruments. This is an exciting opportunity for children to try out various instruments.
