UTown is hosting a lighting design competition and inviting UNA children & youths to submit their original art or animation for the projection system at Lee Square (in front of the Book Store). The drawings will be projected on the floor. Please see the video that registers what was done last year:
How can you brighten someone’s day so we can all Thrive Together?
Create an original art or animation for a chance to have your design illuminate Lee Square (by the UBC Bookstore) and inspire others to learn how to Thrive.
Winners will also receive cash prizes of up to $300, depending on the entry tier.
Submissions from all artistic skill levels welcome! Hosted by @utownubc, this competition is open to:
- Children and youth (ages 18 years and under) living in the UNA or Acadia Park
- Students, faculty, staff, residents, and alumni at UBC Vancouver Campus and other sites.
Submit your work by December 28, 2021. For full details and to enter, see: https://utown.ubc.ca/lights
