Spring Lunch Ordering opening/ PAC Meeting April 3
This is to let everyone know that the Spring lunch menu will be up and open for ordering tomorrow, Saturday March 16th. Also a notice of reminder that the next PAC meeting will be Wednesday April 3 from 6:30-7:30pm. There are several topics we will be touching on that may be of interest: School field trips and School Clubs (specifically speaking on Math Challenge Club) – What are they? Who runs them? Middle School Choir Staring in April
Ms. Victoria Jackson is excited to have me let parents know that, starting after Spring Break, she will start up the Middle School Choir. An announcement will be made to all students at the school that there is an initial meeting next week for kids in middle school, who are interested. For now she has asked me to let parents know that they will meet every Tuesday at 8:00am (and possibly Thursday`s at lunchtime) starting beginning of April! Early dismissal/Parent Ed Talk/Sexual Health talk for Parents/WCC Spring Break Camps
A reminder that it is 2pm dismissal both tomorrow and Thursday. There is a Parent Education talk this Thursday from 9-10:30 in Room D110. Topic will be Camping!! Please come join us and share your experiences. The Presentation for Parents with Saleema Noon Sexual Health Educator Cath Blythe will be Monday March 11 from 6:30-8:00pm. 2019 NRPS PAC Parent Education Committee Event Thur., Mar.7, 9:00am-10:30am 2019: How to arrange the spring / summer holidays (especially camping in the National/Provincial parks, also including the spring/summer camps in the city) Location: Room D110 (1st floor, Early Learning room) Style: Sharing your experience so that we could learn the creative ideas from each other. Pink Shirt Day Tomorrow!
Tomorrow we celebrate Pink Shirt Day. We ask all kids (and parents) to wear pink (or purple). The pink t-shirt symbolizes taking a stand against bullying. If your child does not have a pink shirt then they can wear anything from a pink ribbon in their hair or on their clothing, to a pink scarf. Where, when and why did it start?
