Hi Families, Ms. Tamara, NRP’s art/music teacher, needs your help! She is teaching art to students in the Maple, Alder, and Sitka communities and she’s looking for parents to help post student artwork in the foyer. She is flexible with availability and any amount of time is appreciated – 10 minutes to 2 hours this upcoming week. She will also need help removing artwork between June 17 and June 25. Chum Fry Release Tomorrow Afternoon @ Spanish Banks Creek!

Pacific Spirit Park Society and Spanish Banks Streamkeepers would like to invite families to help tomorrow to release chum fry. It will take place at Spanish Banks creek here (this is the creek that was day-lighted in 2000) and place where school kids who have raised salmon in their classrooms do their fry releasing. The fry release starts at 3:45pm. Participants will carry buckets of fry up the creek and add them to creek at designated spot. Hope to see you there! We have compiled a couple resources on the topic of mental health and well being for families to explore together: Family Smart provides parent/caregiver free virtual events on youth mental health.
