Newcomer Series: UBC Active Kids Workshop
Sat | Feb 22 | 10:00 – 11:30 AM
This new free series program is designed for newcomers to the province in last 5 years or anyone believes they need newcomer support. This session from UBC Active Kids will introduce sports to multicultural newcomers.
The session is in English. Tea, Coffee and refreshment will be provided.
This program is great for families!
Tue | Feb 11 The team at UBC Inspired | Campus + Community Planning has rescheduled Light Up Lee Square in collaboration with Move UBC!
Join us at Lee Square Plaza and admire light projections featuring the winning designs from our Lights at Lee Square design competition! For one night, the square transforms into a playful plaza with fun for all-ages, including a giant Light Brite, glow in the dark swings, music, and more!
We’re also very excited that we’re now hosting the event in collaboration with Move UBC and will have the Move U crew onsite leading a dance activation!
This free community event is open to everyone, including students, staff, faculty, residents and visitors.
