1) VSB is holding a session for parents on Microsoft Teams, the VSB’s tool of choice for online learning:
VSB – Lunch & Learn – Parent Edition : Tuesday May 26, 2020 at 12noon
Our parent community is invited to join for a one hour Microsoft Office 365 Parent Demo. Microsoft Educators will walk parents through the basics of what BC students are able to access in Office 365. Parents will be given followup resources to access for help at home in the future.
Suggestions of successful at-home learning will be shared.
There will be a live Q&A for parents to ask questions.
This session will be recorded and shared publicly for those unable to make the lunch time slot.”
2) The recording of DPAC’s online parent question and answer session on the partial return to school which we hosted last Thursday is now posted on the DPAC website.

3) The Ministry of Education has posted these provincial operating guidelines for the return to school June 01. It is a substantial document, but worth a look for anyone wanting to understand the context for what the VSB is setting up and the work individual school administrations and staff are doing to prepare for June 01.
