Pre-sale for NRP students only, each NRP student will receive 3 free tickets. Pre-sale and free tickets will be delivered to your child’s classroom on Friday, May 8. Stay tuned for pre-sale information in your inboxes.

This event is entirely volunteer-run and we need all the help we can get to put on this annual event for the community. You may commit between one hour or more. Share the link with friends and volunteer together! Mandatory Orientation will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at NRP from 2:00 – 3:00 PM.

Every year, we partner with University Hill High School to provide students with the opportunity to volunteer at the Spring Fair. Students will benefit from contributing to a fun-filled afternoon, receive a volunteer certificate, and refreshments for all of their hard work.
Volunteer forms will be made available at UHill’s Main Office starting in April.
Forms will be due by Monday, April 20 and students will be notified about their position shortly after.
Mandatory Orientation will be held on Wed, April 23 at NRP from 3:30 – 4:30 PM.

Who is the Spring Fair for?
The Spring Fair is an accessible and inclusive event for everyone in the local area.
Where will the Spring Fair donations go to?
The Spring Fair is organized by the Norma Rose Point PAC and all proceeds will go towards supporting students and families at Norma Rose Point.
Should I drive to the Spring Fair?
We encourage everyone to walk, ride, or scoot the Spring Fair as parking is very limited.
Can I buy tickets on May 8?
Yes! There will be tickets available for purchase at our ticket booth in front of the Maple Community/playground. Remember to bring cash for easy transactions.
Will there be First Aid at the event?
Yes, First Aid will be provided by St. John’s Ambulance.
When should I arrive?
You may arrive anytime between 3:00 – 7:00 PM.
Will there be a quiet area if my child gets overwhelmed?
Yes! We will have a space near the ropes playground for families to sit and chill – please refer to the map. We also highly recommend a forest walk and return when everyone is ready to get back into the festivities.
Where are the washrooms?
There are children’s washrooms and accessible washrooms indoors in the school. There are also accessible washrooms provided in the portable washrooms close to the southeast corner of the gravel field near the rides.
Are all the rides and attractions accessible?
The rides and attractions are accessible to individuals of all abilities except for the inflatables. Please note that the rides and inflatables are on our gravel field. If you need any additional assistance, please contact us at nrppacspringfair@gmail.com
Who puts on the Spring Fair?
The Spring Fair is organized by a committee of parent volunteers that start planning the event from the beginning of the school year. We then recruit parent volunteers and students, plus trusted community members and organizations to assist with the event on the day of. We are incredibly grateful for our community partners and volunteers for their contributions to the event and to continue to support the students in the community.
Save-on-Foods for donating water bottles, carbonated water, and juice boxes to keep our volunteers hydrated and providing affordable options for our participants.
University Neighbourhoods Association (UNA) and their Youth Leaders for donating and helping to facilitate the sales of popcorn and cotton candy.
UBC Farm for lending us their protective and sturdy tents to shield our volunteers and participants from the sun.
EVENT DAY REMINDERS
Acadia Road parking lot will be closed on May 8, please use the Ortona Road traffic circle to drop-off your children or park along Acadia Road in designated parking spots. We appreciate your cooperation!
