K-5 Sports Day On Friday June 22nd it is the K-5 Sports Day. For the afternoon from 1-2pm there will be a bike/scooter decorating and parade planned for the K-2 students. We are looking for 10-12 parent volunteers to come at 12:30pm to set out materials on tables in the multi-purpose room and in the outside area by the sun dial and also stay to help with decorating. This means all books will be organized and scanned into the computer to check for missing books, so the librarians know what to replace next year. An orientation session will be held on Monday, June 11th at 9am, to go over and show the steps below. Thanks for those who volunteered at the Grade 4 Heritage Fair in May. Now we are calling for adjudicators for the Grade 5 Heritage Fair, which will take place Friday June 8, from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. The program relies on volunteer adjudicators (judges) to evaluate the student projects. What’s involved? The time commitment can be the entire day (9 AM – 3 PM) or half a day (morning or afternoon). The coordinator, Janet Morley, will provide more instructions the day of the event.
