ProD Day tomorrow, Early Dismissal – Oct.25/26 & Direct Appeal update

This is a kind reminder that tomorrow Friday Oct. 20 is a ProD Day – no school. Goal-Setting Conferences will take place on Wednesday Oct. 25 and Thursday Oct. 26, children will be dismissed at 2:00pm on both days. If you cannot make it to either of the dates, please reschedule your meeting with your child’s teacher. So far, the direct appeal has raised about $23,000! Walk ‘n Roll Week – Oct. 23 to 27

The Walk ‘n Roll to School Celebration Week is coming back from Oct 23 to 27. It is a joint initiative taken by UBC Campus and Community Planning, UNA and the school. Photo Day: This is a reminder that tomorrow your kids will have their School Photo`s taken so remember to have them brush their teeth, comb their hair and put on a nice shirt! Call for Volunteer – Bookfair

The school librarians are looking for parent volunteers for the Scholastic Bookfair being held on October 25th 2-5pm and 26th 8-9am & 2-5pm (to coincide with the teacher conferences). Duties will include sales with the debit machine for visa, bank card, and cash. Help with set up and clean up and counting money at the end of each shift. Scholastic is a great fund raiser adding more books to the Learning Commons.
