UBC Farm Summer Programs

Farm Wonders is a community education initiative committed to promoting environmental awareness through science-based learning. We aim to offer a unique experience that allows children to explore the wonders of science at the UBC Farm and discover the life-cycles of the food they eat. We have a lot of fun! Camp includes forest adventures, planting, harvesting, eco-crafts and more.

Forest Wonders is a new community education initiative committed to promoting environmental awareness through science-based learning and forest immersion. We aim to offer a unique experience that allows children to explore the wonders of the 30 acres of second growth forest within our UBC Farm site. Forest ecosystems, natural connections, science, food, animals and more make up our subject matter as we explore and discover this magical space. Plus, we have a lot of fun! Camp includes full days in the forest, building, learning skills, learning about trees, plants, creatures and more. This is achieved by relationship building, physical play, art, games and connections all within a Southwest B.C. forest landscape.
