Vancouver Fastpitch

The Vancouver Fastpitch (Softball) Association (“VFA”) has opened registration for our 2025 season, which runs from April through June. We are seeking new players from our school to come out and have fun playing softball.  Playing softball helps our young athletes develop: softballand athletic skills;confidence; leadership; decision making; friendship and camaraderieand other life skills. VFA has recently expanded our footprint in East Vancouver and are excited to grow in this part of the city.

We are holding a number of “Intro to Fastpitch” clinics on March 2 and March 16 – you can register here, free of chargehttp://vmsa.ca/news.php?news_id=2031092&lang=

Registration now open!

Summer Camps at the Chan Centre Two camps, all the imagination. Register before March 16 and save $50!

Join us for our Summer Camps at the Chan Centre, where children explore music through digital media. Through hands-on projects, campers will have the chance to create their own compositions and exciting multimedia content. With a focus on creativity, imagination, and teamwork, our camps provide a fun space for children to learn and express themselves.

Substance Use Prevention: Mental Health and Decision Making

In partnership with adolescent clinical psychologist  Dr. Hayley Watson, the ministry will host three, free virtual sessions for parents, guardians and caregivers that will focus on practical skills you can teach your child and youth (ages 0-19) to prevent substance use and mental health challenges. These sessions will build on a previous presentation, which focused on practical conversation tools for speaking about substance use prevention with your children/youth.

Participants must register in advance for one of sessions on February 20, 25 or 26. Please share this information within our school community to reach parents, guardians and caregivers of all ages.
