UBC’s Neighbourhood Climate Action Plan attend our PAC General Meeting on Tuesday, October 17 to share with the NRP community opportunities for engagement. Please see below for more information:

UBC is developing a Neighbourhood Climate Action Plan (NCAP) and we’d like to hear from you! If you’re a resident in the campus neighbourhoods, tell us what you think of the NCAP’s emerging directions, which will inform the programs and infrastructure needed to build a healthy, sustainable and resilient community. We’re looking to better understand community climate action priorities, as well as identify gaps, barriers, and potential impacts.Engagement runs from October 17th – November 3rd. Here’s how you can have your say:

1. Take the NCAP survey
2. Register for one of the following workshops:

• NCAP Emerging Directions Walking Tour: October 20, 3:30-5:00 pm, Wesbrook Community Centre (meet outside).
• NCAP Emerging Directions Workshop #1: October 25, 5:30-7:30 pm, Wesbrook Community Centre Social Room
• NCAP Emerging Directions Workshop #2: October 28, 10:00 am-12:00 pm, Wesbrook Community Centre Social Room
• NCAP Emerging Directions Virtual Workshop: October 31, 12:00-1:30 pm
