Dear Parents/Guardians,

We, Hannie and Yuki would like to wish all of you a happy holiday season and a happy new year! We would also like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to a few groups of people who have made the past few months an excellent start to the school year:

We would like to begin by acknowledging that the land on which we gather is the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Musqueam People. They have stewarded this land since time immemorial and has given us the gift for all of us to learn, play, and create.

Thank you to the staff and administration at NRP who work tirelessly to support everyone at the school and to ensure that everything runs as smooth as possible. An extra thanks to Principal Peters, Vice Principal Greenhalgh, and Acting Principal Cannon.

Thank you to the teachers for putting in so much effort and time to educate our children and to expand their minds.

Thank you to the parents who take the time out of their busy schedules to volunteer at the school – from sorting and distributing lunches to bringing in donations to taping books at the library and so much more.

We wholeheartedly thank the community that we are a part of and we are very lucky to work with all of you for the past few months and look forward to the rest of the school year filled with exciting events (Multicultural Day and Spring Fair) and programs!
