PAC will be selling “Every Child Matters” orange t-shirts tomorrow in front of the Multipurpose Room on the sundial from 3:00 – 3:30 PM after school tomorrow, Monday, September 26, 2022. Please bring cash to make your purchase. We only have adult sizes S/M/L (small is equivalent to a child size L), $20/shirt. First come first serve.

All proceeds will go to the Urban Native Youth Association (UNYA), an amazing organization supporting Indigenous youth and celebrating their voices. Every Child Matters t-shirts are designed by Bella Bella artist, KC Hall. Please do not contact the school about ordering orange t-shirts.

September 30 has been declared Orange Shirt Day annually, in recognition of the harm the residential school system did to children’s self-esteem and well being. September 30, 2022 is also the second National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Norma Rose Point will also be having Orange Shirt Week (Sept 26 to 30) in the spirit of truth and reconciliation and to show our support and solidarity with Indigenous peoples that every child matters. 

We would like to thank Soaring Eagles Nature School for providing us with the t-shirts to support UNYA and to educate the community.
