Updated PAC Minutes

It has come to my attention that in editing the minutes from our April meeting I forgot to add the names of the 2 parents who spoke about the Math Challenge Club. This was my error and I would like to apologize for the oversight. Here is the updated version. In future, if anyone notices an error like this, please feel free to email me a reminder (clearly I am not a professional writer/editor). Scholastic Book Fair Teacher Wish List

Dear Parents, Please see the following message from Ms.Woods: Have you seen the wish list at the book fair? Come and check out the class wish lists to help add new books to your child’s classroom. Teachers have identifited titles that would make great additions to the classroom library. To grant a book wish, please take the desired title to the Cashier and personalize a bookplate for your child’s teacher. Lunch Orders – Urgent Notice

Dear Parents, We have received the unfortunate news that Sushi Sushi will be closing their business effective April 30th. Sushi Sushi is a small, family run business that has supported Norma Rose Point not only through providing lunches but also providing extra lunches (every week) knowing that some children might not have a lunch; they have made financial donations, at the end of the year to the PAC, and have been wonderful in providing healthy and tasty options for students at an affordable price – we will miss working with the ladies at Sushi Sushi and wish them well in … Continue reading Lunch Orders – Urgent Notice

April 2019 Message from Vancouver DPAC Chair Welcome back from spring break! First, I’d like to thank everyone — parents, District staff, and trustees — who attended our session on the VSB’s Long Range Facilities Report (LRFP).  Feedback from that session will hopefully make it into the revision of that report which is expected in the next week or so.
